Welcome to 2015
So another year has come and gone and 2014 is now in the books. Itís customary to do a year end write up at the end of the year, but as I am frequently behind on things, itís taken me until now to get to it. 2014 ended up being a big year of change for the shop, but it started off in much the same manner as most years.
We caught the usual suspects on the flats, bones and trevally.
In summer I took a group of anglers to Christmas Island, which is always fun.
As it turned to fall, the Blue Angels came to visit and we caught a few more fish.
There was a massive run of small blue trevally this year, hopefully some of them stick around and grow up big and strong.
And finally, the big change was Clay got a girlfriend moved away to Washington.
Without the old guy to work on Mondays, I hired a new guy to help in the shop. A few of you have already met Andrew, the rest of you will soon. Please be nice to him, as good help is hard to find and I need time off to fish.
I spent this past New Yearís Eve with friends, closing out 2014 with fireworks, ono food (thanks Todd!) and more than a few beers.
Thank you all so much for your support of myself and Nervous Water. 2015 is gonna be great! Aloha
