bonefishing hawaii:

just a few pics.

after that last blabberblog, i find i have absolutely nothing to say.  not much since the last blog.  apparently no rapture just yet.  for those in the same boat as i, i’ll say it for all of us... whew!  i was kind of counting on it to tell you the truth so now i gotta go take care of some things i probably should have done earlier this week.  weather’s still a little temperamental but easing up quite a bit.  many more sunny days since the last blog with a few rough spots here and there.  it’s definitely beginning to be that time of year.  so if you haven’t already been doin’ it, it’s time to get out on the water.  i’ll see you there and whether you like it or not, i'll probably have something to say next time.  so here are a few pics taken since the last time of what alls been goin' on.

sean spent a day out at k bay with our buddy rick his girlfriend christy from seattle.

rick got this omilu (bluefin trevally).  nice one rick.

on her first time out bonefishing ever, christy casted to, hooked, and landed this bonefish.  here she is thinking, "what's so hard about this?"  nothing christy.  you just gotta go.  i think she's even wearing a wristlock!  that's beyond awesome.

then, not to be showed up by the old guys at the shop, our boy matty went out and got into some mantis action himself.  all right matt!  it tastes super good huh.

i spent my days leading up to the rapture just doing what i do...

and this sidler always manages to sneak his way into the blog too.

then i spent the last couple of days on the water with nick curcione.  i introduced him to bombing for bones with two handed rods the last time he was here and he took to it right away.  here he is putting the bone flex to a tfo 6126 pro.  incredibly sweet casting rod.  currently on hiatus.  i can't wait for its return.

nice bone nicky.

right there... that's what it's all about.  look at the old grouch (not you nick, the other old grouch), he's even cracking a smile.

fortunately, i have great buddies to fish with.  even more fortunate is that they know how to take at least half decent photos or this whole blog fiasco would be an even worse disaster than it already is.  i just fish, nothing more nothing less and if that rapture ever comes, at least i'll have had more than my fair share of good times.

clay.
